I am thinking of puting these in also .... like seeing the questions and feedback here. Has anyone hooked these up to the fragramatics vacs yet....there are two different displays one for the fragramatics and one for the shampoo vac ... both are a bit different....does cryptopay work with them? How do they get wired in?

I think if I had some serious questions about the system before pulling the trigger on their system I’d call Cryptopay at 719-277-7400 and ask them or go there web site http://getcryptopay.com/ I see they have the retro-fit system out now for the ACW’s.

I am not quite ready to put these in but I am making my list of things that I need/want to get done for the spring and these are on the list. I keep hearing that the credit card industry will be moving to cards with special chips in them. Think they have them in Europe already. I wonder if/when that is going to happen in the US. That will mean I have to change out the readers I have now. If crypto pay readers will work with this that might be a good reason to move ahead. I guess readers will have to be able to read both types for some time until old style cards are phased out. Just a thought.

As soon as I installed my Washcard system, I was immediately contacted by businesses in the area asking about Washcard/Fleet cards and that's where 50% - 60% of my Washcard usage is coming from, so hopefully Crypto-Pay will be coming out with a card program and I can upgrade another wash that has no CC acceptance in the SS bays that relies heavily on commercial traffic.

My Visa card has had the chip in it for the last three years.

Why not use Wash Card at this other location?

They haven't released the retrofit for Hamilton acw's even though they show it on their website. Been calling for a while about it and they just keep saying its being field tested still.

I have one location that uses wash card system that was already in place I wanted to add it to another with 4 bays, 1 automatic, 2 vacs and a cashier station or whatever they call it $30,000 was my quoted price.
I have cc on the auto cashier and at a token machine already and pay about 9% for transaction fees plus phone line.

It's $350 for each swiper, and $350 for the central unit.

I am not sure if you can use it to repalce all your equipment or not. You would have to aske them. Tere were some initial setup charges with First Data.

There was no carge for support. Only needed a little for initial setup.

Last month my fees thru First Data ran 5% of total charges, plus the fixed internet fee thru Comcast. (I use it for my tunnel as well.)

Only had it for the last 4 horrible washing months. A single issue surfaced caused by a bad connection between the swiper and the timer.
