The is a difference in "loaning" the banks money to get them through their stupidity, with them needing to pay it back and taking over the bank, getting rid of the stockholders and giving the bank to a union, like they did with GM. That is nationalization.

I think that we are closer to that now than in the past.

I was in NY last week and was lucky enough to get a peek at these "occupiers". I feel very safe in saying that not one of these people is missing work to be there. There are undoubtedly some professional pot stirrers that are there to keep the tv cameras rolling but most of these folks reminded me of the movie Woodstock. They were grungy and they smelled bad and they felt a call to protest something, even if they are not really clear what they are protesting. They don't have anything else to do so why not.

We have our own off shoot of protesters also in our town. I won't be seeing these people at the wash, as we stopped downtown for a sandwich, a couple of guys with signs came in. It seems like they are also saving water on hygiene.

The Wall Street J, did a survey of 200 of them and found 80% were passing out communist pamphlets, there are pictures of Chi Reveria The unions are also there stiring the pot. And of course, O blessed them again yesterday. The other 20% just want everything to be free, paid for by some unknown God.

Beck was doing a story this morning about the kitchen staff, yes kitchen staff, at ows complaining about having to work 18 hours a day to feed the "professional homeless people and ex-convicts" who are showing up to eat. They were complaining about people who do nothing showing up to take from those who are doing something. I love irony ...

I guess you probably saw the news footage of the "riots" at the Oakland ports. I noticed that the main and very large sign displayed was "Kill Capitalism"

This what O is blessing in his current speeches.

I also saw some graffiti on a wall "Stage 1 of the revolution" I was hoping that I would be out of here before this started, but maybe not.

All my friends stockpiling ammo, might be right.

I have a feeling that the violent element in this group is going to scare away many of the members. I remember the problems in Chicago in "68 and was there in Grant Park when all hell broke loose. The movement pretty much died after that. What seems to happen is that protests like this draw in the anarchists who see it as a tool to begin the "revolution". Look for most politicians that once supported this to back off when it turns violent.

We can only hope. My daughter, who is 50 going on 12, is a have-not, stopped at a protest in Salem Oregon and chatted with the protestors. For the most, they were homeless people who's only bitch was that the rich get richer and we get poorer. Duh??

They also were drinking out of the bag and many smoking dope. Watch the Dems, use this anarchy to try to stay in office. they might lose control of this and it bites them in the butt, but that will also kill us.

The protest here in Atlanta has lost a lot of steam after they were kicked out of the park. They found out the guy leading the group was an ex-con now working as a "social worker" being paid by a far left group. A large part of the group were homeless and out of work people. There were only several arrests when the police kicked them out of the park. Some had previous outstanding warrants and were detained. How stupid is it to be involved in something like this if you have outstanding warrants?

I think the Dems are playing with fire on this on. If this thing continues to turn more violent and get out of control they will pay the price for supporting it.

I am not overly concerned about these people. There are just too many armed patriots to let a bunch of moochers do any real damage. I hope O'bama keeps feeding these idiots and the democrats embrace them with open arms. Meanwhile I'll just keep my arns cleaned and ready. When the press finally starts to report on what losers most of these people are it will stop. Do any of you remember the picture of the kid who got shot at the Kent State protests? Was on the cover of all the bleeding heart magazines at the time. What they never tell you is that these "students" had taken over, completely, a state university for three freaking days. They were burning down campus buildings and stopping the firemen from putting it out. At that time someone finally grew some cajohnes and told the Guard to stop it. My guess is that something similar will happen this time. There are just tooo many half cocked morons going around in a mob.
