I just had the same thing happen. Vac wasn't even wired and didn't have the coin drawer in it, was just bolted down on the island and not wired after I got it used. Idiot yanked on it until the anchors broke out of the too-thin concrete and dragged it into the dark to pry the door open and get nothing.

I'm installing RING alarm systems. The basic system is $199.00 and active monitoring is only $100 per year site. Hopefully it will keep shitheads from hanging around too long after they break in.

Jeeze, looks like the crime wave is more widespread than I thought. Is there a shock or motion sensor people have used inside there meter box to try and catch it a little sooner.

That would be the smart thing to do. There's a operator here who thought that he was OK with having bill validators, never had a problem, has really good video system. I kept telling him that the validator were a target. One afternoon they came in and hit all 6 bays, pretty much destroyed all the coin boxes in less than 5 minutes, he doesn't have bill validators anymore. He went for about 5 or 6 years before he was it. Why have a target.
