It's no your pump o your motor, they won't anything to do with a leaking valve. Does the pump cycle On and Off, if it does you've got a bad solenoid valve or debris under the seat. I would rip out the bladder tank and control the pump motor with a IDX MX-8 controller this will eliminate the need for the bladder tank and pressure switch. That set up with the bladder tank and pressure switch is nothing but problematic.
Hey Randy. I have this setup ready to hook up marathon Motor 4805, procon pump and Mx switcher. I’m struggling with the wiring and the different voltage needs. Would you mind sharing how to wire? I know I need power to the mx8 then from the mx8 to the marathon pump…. Not sure what power source to pull from… any help appreciated!

It's pretty simple. All of your 24 volt commons have to be connected together. All of your 24 volt inputs from the bays connect to the terminal strip 1 – 8 on top off the MX-8. On the side of the MX-8 you have a terminal strip with 4 terminals. Terminal 1 is a 24 volt common, this wire goes back to your terminal strip where you’ve got your 24 volt commons connected. Terminal 2 is an earth ground, anything that is grounded will work. Terminal 3 is your input power, whatever voltage you put into terminal 3 is what you’re going to get out terminal 4. Just think of the MX-8 as a light switch on /off and this is where it happens. I run 120 volts to terminal 3 and get 120 volts out on terminal 4 when the MX-8 kicks on. I run all of the 120 volt wiring in conduit and mount the MX-8 in an air conditioner disconnect can. I run the 120 hot wire in the conduit down to an outlet. On the Procon pump motor I have short 120 volt power cord on the motor that I plug into the receptacle that is controlled by the MX-8.

Just make sure all your transformers are in phase with each other. I tried to hook up a foam brush system this way and it didn't work. Because my transformers were out of phase I had to use relays and separate commons. Later I found out that it would have been easier to fix my out of phase issue but whatever. 😩

Good advise OurTown! Most people don't know this is a Huge Requirement when it comes to tying multiple transformers together. Here is a photo of my TF and PS winterizing Controller. I installed the yellow Idec Cube relays just to make sure I didn't have any issues since I was powering my PLC's and solenoids with a smaller transformer. I probably would have been OK since my bay transformers are phased the same. But wasn't taking any chances.
