Tire shine drain

I’m building a new tunnel. I’m wanting to put a grated drain under my tire shine equipment to catch any drips that come off when I’m home position. I’m thinking 8” wide. Suggestions?

If your new site will use reclaim water then I would recommend you try to have any tire shine chemical runoff go straight to the sewer to keep it out off the reclaim tanks.

Most of the chemical is slung off of them when they are operating (rotating) and extended outward to apply product to the tires of the passing car - not when they are idle and retracted. The brush in the driver’s side will have most of its runoff dripping right into/onto your conveyor. For the passenger side - like Axxlrod said - just spray some degreaser down and power wash that area when needed.
