i was going to make my own buy using a Stainless lid from kleen-rite and then making a frame from pressure treated and covering that with trex. I never got around to doing it, nut they would still be pretty pricey.

Outstanding quality (but not necessarily cheap).....check out www.wausautile.com . I have several of their trash receptacles....and they are great.

I find the galvanized shiny metal ones to be nice. Attractive, stay put in wind and available at local hardware for short $. They look really nice around the lot.
They have a lid which I attach with a chain. Sometimes the customers even put the lid back in place after they dispose of trash. That's the hallmark of a good day.
