Treadle pressure pad for LW 4000 ????

OK, I have two laserwash 4000's. They are getting some age on them. Lately, my issue is the treadles. For some reason, the pressure pads are lasting approximately 6 months. At $250 each, that isn't going to work.

Has anyone tried other brands?

Does anyone know what causes this? The pressure pads are laying flat on 1/4" steel pads.

Can anyone recommend a replacement that works or lasts? I know some people don't replace theirs for 10 years.

Anyone have any used virtual treadles for sale???

I purchased some from kleenrite several years ago that have never given me a problem. I use them on a Ryko Monarch 2 in place of the treadle springs that ryko used.
