Hi all,

Recently my tri foam coverage on my auto (Mark vii gt700) has been less than exciting. After checking everything I could. Air, looking for leaks and even switching out to new drums of chemicals still no improvement.

Then the light bulb......

Replaced the foam pieces in each of the 6 foam generators....looks great, I mean really great.

My generators had foam cylinder shapes like room A/C filters...I used the plastic dish scrub pads as an easy to source replacement.

I removed the old foam and stuffed the new scrubby in to the tube. I used about 3/4 of the material. Like I said I went with plastic do to tight space to shove the stuff through

It is important to clean or replace those scrubbies as part of your regular maintenance schedule to keep your tri form at its best.

Went stainless scrubbies too. I split two pads for my three tube generators. Stretch them out and use a long screw driver to shove them in there so the pumps don't have to fight so hard. Lower pressure, less chemical, better results.

Didn't know that. My foam is weak - who knows when, if ever they were maintained. Guess I'm gonna go up into the trough and take a peek. Thanks for the info!
