Triple Foam Issues

Hello everyone
I’m having a huge issue with my triple foam
For some reason it isn’t consistent
It’s goes in and out on foam and isn’t consistent
Yesterday I was contacted that the chemical coming from the gun was very very colored and staining my clients clothing
It will spit out foam then air and goes back and fourth
I’ve adjust the regulators for air and product and seems to not work
Any ideas what else it could be IMG_8414.jpeg

Carwash chemicals stain hands and cloths if not washed off in a timely manner - it is the dye used by most manufacturers. Should come off in the wash. What tips, air, and product settings are you using? What chemicals are you using? Looks like an Air Logic Triple Foam system which we use in multiple locations.

I’m using a green tip I believe it’s like a .23
My air was like 45 and product was around 60
And I’m using Stinger chemical in Houston Tx

I wonder if one or two of your flowjets is not working. Do you see all three colors?
Have you checked your hoses for any pinhole leaks especially the air hoses?
Do you have a filter on your air system to prevent water from mixing with your air from the compressor?

It’s crazy cause all 3 flowjets are working

I haven’t checked for pinhole leaks yet.
Yes I also have a filter to separate water

I’ve thought about changing the solenoids

Good idea. See if issue is across all the bays or isolated to a bay.

Sounds like inconsistent chemical dilution to me, are your hydrominders working correctly with the correct incoming water pressure?

On three color systems, especially with quick changeover/cycling times, even one color not functioning properly will affect the entire sequence. If there is one color that is not dominant in the sequence I would start with that one. What I mean is if you run the tricolor and the red and yellow look strong and the blue looks weak then I would start with blue. Start with the basics of checking/cleaning chemical tips for debris, checking foot valves, and cleaning inlet strainers on each color located in the mixing tank. If you have have a history of goo (bacterial growth) in the tanks you need to check your foam generators to see if they need cleaning. One Flojet partially stalling could also be a potential issue.

Curious as to the teed liquid lines...
What are the 6 lower poly lines connected to? Weep?

Also, the plungers in the Dema Solenoid manifolds have been known to stick...sometimes open...sometimes closed.
I use 0000 steel wool and a dab of silicone grease to free them up.

Turn both regulators down to ZERO. Turn a bay on and get your liquid flow to what you want for flow rate for product. Than slowly turn air up till you get the foam consistency is where you would like it to be. Be sure your mixes in all 3 tanks are close in consistency, add a little to your delay timer for more time for colors to clear mixing.

This is what I’m dealing with at the moment with the triple shine

Thanks everyone for the feed back looks like I figure out the problem
The way the previous had the air hooked up to the product and Air lines
He had everything together so I made each line independently so I could better
I swapped out the 3 solenoids
We are back in business
Thanks again

Glad you got your issue resolved and back to working properly. Also, thanks for reporting back to everyone, (especially those who commented with advice on what to check) on what you did to fix your problem.
