ToFarGone20,
We are new to this, we just bought our first wash this past August and are trying to get things ready for the winter. Could you send me info on the pumps you use and maybe even some pics of how you have things set up? The previous owner had a very small water heater set up and pex tubing running through the bay trough and auto rails. Any info would be much appreciated.

I have a wooden insulated trough that has a pex line run into and out of it that is tied into my floor heat. In addition to that I use wintergard wet cable on my high pressure line as a backup. I also use the wintergard wet under my iba door threshold, on my well lines on my vacation house in Ontario, and various other places. It is a very good, reliable self regulating 6watt heat cable. You can cut it to any length. It has a polymer conductive core that becomes conductive when the temp goes below 40F. It will heat a spot on your line that may be exposed to cold and not heat any other section that is above 40F. Raytheon has some very good info regarding design, selection, and install on their website. I use an Ericson G101 automatic ground fault circuit interupter. The ericson lets you connect your 120v line to one side and the Wwet right into the other side. It has nice internal connection points and makes for a nice clean job. I watch for wintergard wet to go on sale throughout the year and make sure that I have at least 100' on hand. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's a heavy duty tough cable (not heat tape). I turn on the weep water heater when the temps get into the single digits (F). Have had many sub zero days and nights with no trouble.

"Guys, You keep calling this Heat Cable "Raytheon"....I can't find anything with a goodgle search on "Raytheon Heat Cable". I believe you are referring to Raychem Heat Cable."

You are correct. I believe Raychem is owned by Tyco. I use the 120v cable.
