Tunnel Ambient RGB Light

Hello everyone,
Has anyone tried using non-car wash rated RGB LED bars in their tunnel?

As we all know, the car wash RGB lights are ridiculously overpriced, and getting ambient lighting effects can cost about $25K plus installation.

I was thinking of daisy chaining several of these on both sides of the tunnel: https://www.amazon.com/Landscapesta...g-Projects/dp/B0CBJWMB4J?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

Looks like an American company based in NC, and not made in China (https://landscapestation.com).

168W, IP65 at 40 inches long and you can synchronize each of them to work together via Bluetooth app. Looking at the reviews, they seem to be very sturdily made. I have heard about other sites using Novostella floodlights to achieve the same function, and was wondering if anyone's used it in the same capacity or used them for their applicators.

When you check out the link you will see they are made in China. You just have a US importer and maybe some tech support. It might be worth a try, hope the LED's are brighter that the ones we have in the automatic i have seen in the field.

you're right, the parts are imported from china and assembled in the USA via company called 360LED in fayetteville, NC.

i have used Novostella smart flood lights in the past for my smaller tunnels (https://www.novostella.net/products/novostella-blaze-smart-flood-light-100w-wifi). it's been 3 years and they are still going strong, and the app is very easy to use. i am hoping the these guy's qualities can match the novostellas...

if i experiment with them and the result is good, i will report back.

My go to for lighting in car wash bays is G&G. The warranty alone is worth the premium. IP68 is expensive...

How long is your bay?

the one we're about to work on is a 150ft tunnel, just didn't wanna shell out $20-30k on a lighting system when i could achieve nearly the same result for $3-4K. i plan to mount them near the ceiling so it isn't going to get really wet aside from the humidity. the warranty is 5 years allegedly, so to me if it lasts even 3 years it is well worth it.

I'm remodeling a tunnel in a few months and very interested in this after getting the quote from Sonny's.

Please keep us updated.

The Amazon link you provided shows the lights being MFG in China, not NC. Could LandScapestation be importing them now and not assembling them in NC now? Not trying to arguer. As there is nothing wrong with them coming from China just wanted to confirm.
