What's yall's typical water useage on a bust 4/1?
Our water bill just tripled with a new meter!

They claimed we used 215,000 gal last month!!!

You should take a 55 gallon barrel and see what your meter shows. Some meters have a multi factor to get the actual gallons used. I had a new meter at a new location installed once and it was reading very high. It was one I had to buy from the city water department. I made them replace it and check it on their calibrated meter at headquarters. It was reading triple the gallons it should have. This also had a effect on the sewer bill of course. It was in in 6 months before replacement but they would only adjust for 3 months. 215,000 gallons is pretty high for a month unless you are super busy.

We just went through this last week. Nutty bill, no visible leak, decided to replaced our main line and moved the remaining line above ground in the equipment room. Leak was under the slab, under the equipment room. Can you see where the repair occurred on the graph?

Depends on business and equipment

Razor in general uses 70 gal per wash which includes undercarriage

when we wash 2000 cars in one IBA plus 5 SS bays we can use that amount especially if you have a weep system without recycling the weep water. Still would check age of the meter as they can go bad over a long time period.
