Ultrasonic sensor problem

Hello, trying to build a 360 car wash myself but im having a problem with ultrasonic sensor.

It doesnt read the panoramic sunroof correctly and the back window on some cars because they are too narrow and the sensor says there is no car and the rotating arm turns into a car.

As i can see everyone uses the same ultrasonic sensor, maybe they use another principle ?
My sensor is on the center of the bridge and it is calibrated propertly, works good but on some cars it has problems. Maybe you guys have some ideas to fix it.

I have seen some car washes have sensor in the middle, what does it help ?
