I am discussing the purchase of used Unitec Portal Ti. It was used in a tunnel wash and is connected to the DRB tunnel division from what I was told. Does anyone here know if I would be able to use it for an IBA without having to modify anything or purchase any different software?

I have 2 and love them. My question is just if one that was tied to a tunnel and is with the DRB division would work with an IBA.

If I may ask what was the price of the Unitec Portal and how much was installation cost?

Mine were installed 8 years ago, you would need to find your nearest distributer and have them quote it.

I installed a new one for my customer 4 years ago for $38,500. I would expect about 20-22% more than that today. Guesstimate: $47K

That includes programming and interface to Gilbarco Sapphire POS, pump programming, credit card acceptance, etc. Ran a new Belanger mini tunnel.

I would think somewhere on the order of $20K installed for a used unit. You would need the interface package (about $1K) to send the wash package and wash-in-use signals to/from your IBA.

Definitely capable and also a bit of overkill for an IBA.
