Upgrade Gold Line to process via ethernet

I am trying to help someone upgrade a Wash Select so that it can process cards via internet instead of the current dial up it uses. It's an older 2002 model. Anyone know if that is possible to do? Figured I'd ask here before trying to contact Hamilton.

Thanks.

It can be done but it is very expensive. Unitec's hardware for ip processing is not cheap.
The better option might be to use a third party like Cryptopay or Nayax.
I converted one of our WashSelects to use Nayax.

You have to have an ethernet adaptor, around $300, and a D.A.N. unit which is something like $4500, about $1k cheaper if you do the one without a touch display. Cryptopay is only like $500. You'll get hit with extra fees about the same with a D.A.N. as with Cryptopay. I'd stick with dialup unless it's just too slow.

Thanks guys, I'll pass that along. I might end up buying this wash and would just put in a whole new paystation if I do.

Unless there are constant lines, Dial Up is like 15 secs. I was in same dilema weeks ago, had a long thread on it, & decided to keep Dial up.

Works fine, but I really want to add a touch screen for all of the other capabilities I would get. I have 2 Portal TI's now and offer loyalty, bundles, Everwash, and Coinless. Also fast internet processing and the ability to sell buy ups etc.
