Vac Blows Up article/info?

Awhile back there was a story about customers using SS Vacs to vacuum- clean combustibles, causing an explosion.

Was the article from JJJakubowski or what?

My insurance guy wants to include it in his carwash safety course. He learned about it in a walk-around of my place Wednesday when he saw a decal on my vacs about not vac'ing flammables.

I've heard the story,

I had a mechanic wash gas soaked rags in my laundrymat once and it blew up burning my attendant. The cops wouldn't charge him with reckless endangerment, because they figured he was too stupid to know what he was doing. Of course, I and the attendant sued his insurance company and were paid off.

I'm sure some dumb person has stuck the wand up his butt too, is he going to include that too?

Yes, Bill, he said signs in the bays advising against using the spray wand for a 'colon cleanse' were a good idea and recommended by most insurance companies nowadays.

I knew a car wash technician who washed plastic brushes, before cloth, with gasoline and guess what? The gas fumes ignited in the tunnel while he was spraying gas on the bristles. It burned off his eyebrows and lashes and had he not had on a hat it would have gotten his hair too.

In Egypt they use gas to clean carpets in cars.

No end to the stupidity of people or ignorance.

JJ, You need to have a URL to a link to that has the picture uploaded to already. You can also go to our Photo Gallery and set yourself up with a personal album and then along with creating an interesting album, you can quickly upload pictures and post them
