Hello all,

We're planning on a remodel of one of our washes and replacement of our vacuums.

Are vacuums with LED7 displays worth the money? Do customers appreciate the display?

Are vacuums with Cryptopay worth the return on investment?

Two years ago, at one of our washes, we installed, as an experiment and trial, a vac with a cryptopay. We've averaged about $45 per month on the cryptopay minus the fees and such that they charge. I'm on the edge of deciding if going all-out with Cryptopay is the way to go. I've talked to several local owners who say that cryptopay on vacs isn't that great of an investment. None, in our area, have vacs with LED7's installed so that's the question for you all.

Cryptopay and Displays worth it?

Thanks

I installed led6s on all my vacs last year. They look great and have been super reliable. The customers seem to like them. I also installed two vacs out of my seven with cryptopay. Not the greatest but I like having the option and a lot of my customers do as well.

I started with cryptopay on only 2 vacs out of 8. Then went to 4, now all 8 have them. Usage has been picking up steadily and I love that they have them. I charge $2.50 per card swipe when using the card, $2 if paying cash and no complaints. Some people use several swipes. Mine are all combo vacs though. I do have 3 LED6s timers and they are great.

I think it's a no brainer. If you already have crypto on site the incremental cost is about $350.00 for the swiper. Don't know what the incremental cost of upgrading to this timer is. $200.00? It's tough to judge incremental revenue, but there is always an ease of payment factor. How many Gas stations don't have CC pay at the pump? If Vandalism is not an issue Bill accepters are great as well.

If incremental monthly revenue is $10.00 / Mo the payback is 5 years. How many pieces of equipment pay for themselves in 5 years?
