The 3 bulb fixtures I got from Conservationmart.com are LED ready. I have purchased the 4' tube bulbs (Daylight or 5000K-6000K) from various places for about $4-5 a tube. That's only about $50 per fixture with bulbs. I put up the same fixture 7 years ago over my
changer. Not a single bulb failure so far. So I guess it all depends on what your electrical skills are as to the direction you go. I like the ability to be able to change bulbs if they go out...I may not live that long though! LED's have a pretty long life expectancy... There is some wiring you'll have to do if you go the route I did. Also be aware, some bulbs are positive on one end (Both pins), neutral on the other end (both pins). Some bulbs have both positive and neutral on one end (one pin is positive, the other pin is neutral). The other end is does not get wired at all. So the tombstones have to be wired correctly depending on the bulbs you get or you could possibly let the magic smoke out.
I buy the bulbs that are positive one end, neutral on the other end. Most of the documents on the sales ads tell you how the bulbs are configured for wiring.
