Happy Veterans Day everyone! My free carwash for U.S. Vets is underway and bangin' already! They are lined up at my touchfree.

This year we are also collecting cash donations for a Veterans Outreach Center that is solely run on donations and helps homeless Vets.

Last year the Grace for Vets Program washed over 101,000 cars. Lets beat it this year!:p

We also had our free wash for veterans today and had a great turnout, even better than last year and meet some of the greatest and nicest veterans ever.

Don't let this be the only day we thank them for there are 364 more days we need to remember them for all they have done for us.

We had all 4 of our washes giving away free washes for Vets yesterday. It was a little cold here at first but it picked up pretty good in the afternoon. Like said earlier you met the nicest folks. All were very appreciative.

I just reported my total washes for Grace for Vets. What a good feeling to be a part of something very meaningful. A carwash for free is a small gesture, but it sends a message.

I am truly honored to have so many good people come on my property, to my business, in a single day; people who bravely went to wars, fought for freedoms and sacrificed so my family and I can enjoy our many privileges and rights as U.S. citizens.

One of my first customers is a friend named Woody, whom I have known since I was a little boy. He said "are you doing anything else for Veterans today?". I said "...ummm, like what?". He said:'oh, I don't know....maybe you could collect cash donations or something and donate it to Veterans Programs?".

I am happy to report that after we created a 5 gallon donation bucket (Kleenrite Bubble Up), we were able to collect $150 in cash, which we will donate to the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center. The center helps homeless and jobless Veterans. This is a feature I will add to my Grace for Vets participation each year from now on.;)
