When pulling volumetrics which style do you prefer: Electronic Scale or Graduated Cylinders?. I have been using the cylinder method for years but thinking of buying a electronic scale due to the easier/cleaner procedure when doing this.

Scales are definitely the way to go- cleaner and more accurate. And like most things in life that are better, it costs more. I've used the CTS3000. It's nice because it will hold a 5 gal container.

I can see buying one that will measure the contents of the entire 5 gallon container. But if you've got to take a sample out it seems to kill the advantage of weighing over checking volume. I'm more interested in the usage cost of the premium waxes, and you normally have the messy dye to deal with which Is why I would like to convert to just weighing.

I've got a digi coin scale with a 60 lb capacity. I guess I could just use that. I've never seen if it will weigh in grams though, which would simplify the process.
