Wash Names?

I have 3 washes at my IBA.

Named top wash the Extreme Wash, which has worked well. (Rebranding site Xtreme Car Wash)

Going to change bottom was to the DustBuster, per forum suggestion (Thanks!)

Any ideas for the middle wash?
Deluxe Wash is boring. It has undercarriage, hi/low PH, tri-foam, spot free and dry.

Thanks!

Optimum Wash
Preferred Wash
Outer Limits Wash
Performance Wash
Hi-Performance Wash

Hope this helps spark more ideas for you.

Why not keep it simple so the customer can understand what you are offering them. The names you mention mean absolutely nothing.

How about:

Exterior Wash
Exterior Wash & ????? (is it polish or wax?)
The Works

In my experience, the majority of people would ask for the $5 wash, or the $7 wash, or the $??? wash. Very few customers asked for the wash by the name, but they knew it by the cost. I have never seen an operator do this, but always thought it would be different to just use the price and a "The" in front.

"The $7.00 wash", etc. Just a thought.

I liked Sear's idea, Good, Better, Best, keep it simple

We've had this similar setup from the start...seems to work well. Basic, Better, Deluxe, Best. Our menu sign says 'your car derserves the Best'...we run this on our marque as well from time to time too.

I have a competitor who names his washes:

"The Cheapskate"
"The Penny Pincher"
"The Big Spender"

Personally, I think names like this are rude and insulting to the customer, not to mention, they have no indication as to what the washes actually offer.

I have an opinion on naming my wash levels. I want the customer to feel they are getting what they pay for by name. If they buy the top wash, the name should be premium, Ultra, Mega...something like that and something they can feel proud of purchasing. By the same line of thinking, I want the cheap wash to reflect that they are being cheap, such as Basic or Wash. When my attendants prep their cars and the customer chooses the Basic wash, I want them to feel a little guilty about it. Most everyone secretly likes to be precieved as big spenders and by having the ACW announce the basic wash has been choosen, a little embarrasment has been created. My number one wash is the top level (btw is about to get a price increase). To me, by calling the low level wash something like "Dust Buster", makes it sound kind of cool and gives the customer justification for purchasing it. I have sat around and pondered this and these ideas are what I keep coming back to. In addition to providing a quality wash job, customer preception is important. Just my $.02

Maybe you could name the lowest wash "At least tip the guys, ya tightwad" or "<sarcasm>Woohoo, I can finally buy that yacht I've been looking at!</sarcasm>"

Thats what I'm talkin about....EXACTLY! Ha! My main purchasers of the Baisic wash are the seniors. Its a generational thing. I have to laugh, because I know many of them who are loaded and they still go on the cheap. God Bless 'em

Other than making the best wash sound exciting with a name like the "Whole shebang" "Whole 9 yards" "Big bang" or something similar, I like mundane names for the others. I want the best wash to sound like it's much better and the cheapest wash to sound...well, cheap.
