I have 3 WS IIs with WashCard. The integration has worked well for us. WashCard handles all card transactions (credit and loyalty), the WS2 handles cash. The WS2 report will show the WashCard payments as "External Fleet"
I don't have any complaints.

Is there something specific you are wondering?

David what I need to know is this, when a customer comes in to pay can they either insert cash first and then select wash type or can they select wash first then pay. This is very important to me. I now have and american changer integrated with washcard and what a customer has to do is push two buttons first, a select and pay button and then a dollar amount button and then insert cash or card. What it does is confuse the #%&* out of my customers and a lot of them get angry and leave.

So I am looking to buy a Wash select II. I just need to know if the payment options are insert cash first or push button first and then pay so it works for everybody. Thanks Dewey

Got it, yeah I can see customers having problems with that!

With a Wash Select II, the customer can select their wash and swipe their card or they can swipe their card and select their wash. Either option will work. If they select the wash first, the Wash Card screen will prompt for payment for the amount of the wash they choose. If they swipe first, the screen will prompt them to choose a wash package.

David I got some info that to make the wash select II integrate with washcard that you have to buy and install a different or extra circuit board. would you have the part # and is this available from washcard or unitec?
Thanks Dewey

I did the retrofit in 2012 so I don't remember all the specifics. I believe we purchased a small interface board from Unitec. WashCard should be able to get you the part # you need. WashCard should be able to tell you exactly what you need to do.

Add the speech board for the WSII.
When I added mine, it drastically reduced my customer complaints and confusion.
Walks them through the whole process, or you can record your own specific instructions.
