I am thinking of purchasing three WSII units. Those of you that have these, would you be willing to share an actual statement from your card processing vendor? Currently I am with TSYS. My % of sales just topped 10% for total fees! This is just out of control. And before I purchase the WS units, I would like to see actual charged fees.

Also, any pros/cons of these units you would be willing to share. Thanks in advance. PM me if that is best.

I don't have any handy but I have cryptopay and get a Monthly paper statement. When I get a statement I take my total monthly fees and divide by my total monthly site purchases and it comes up consistently at right around 4.1%. I would love a sexier interface but cryptopay just works with minimal hassle and fees.

I have 3 of them at 2 locations and knock on wood no major issues. I got away from TSYS years ago. Cryptopay on them now. If you are looking at selling memberships and you don’t have someone at location full time I would look hard the Dencar units or something like that so people can buy the membership directly from paystation. That’s my only issue with the WSII. Other than that they’ve worked great for me.

Thanks, Greg. I do not have crypto pay. I was just planning on using Priority or Card Connect that is available with the units current swipe/tap feature. Can anyone share the experience with that?

Traveler, I do not plan on memberships. I am stuck with TSYS at the moment until I get new machines. I have American Changer units which can no longer be programmed.

I have priority on my ws2's. My fees run 4.5-5.5% consistently. I have 2 different accounts and I check them both every month.

Does unitec have a new card reader that offers tap ? can you share a link to that ?

Yes. It is an Ingenico iUC285. It supports emv, mag strip, contactless cards and mobile payments, based on the quote from the distributor. (I do not have a link)

Thanks for the fee info.

I'll chime in a say I have the wash select II. Purchased from prior owner and it was set up with Dial up. I upgraded to an internet modem. The sales person at card connect said he would reimburse me for the cost of the modem. cant remember exact price somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000. Once account was set up. Sales person stopped returning calls and of course no reimbursement.

Other than that fairly happy with Card Connect.

You’re talking about the IPTran, and that solution uses the “swipe/magnetic card reader”
Card connect sends out an email stating that “your equipment is NOT PCI compliant” and on the “next billing day” (in my case was the second of every month) they charge a “fine” (for not being PCI compliant). I don’t know why, but the fine was not always the same amount.
Bottom line, Card Connect charged me A LOT of money between “processing fees” and “fines”
NAYAX has a very straight forward billing process, and, so far, I saved a lot of money

I am quite new to the car was business and bit of tech-guy. I was with worldpay who's fees all inclusive were around 5.3%. WS II's didn't have many good options to upgrade to chip and tap so went with MONEX for a reader and developed my own interface board to make it jive with the WS II. I added the new reader while keeping the existing WSII reader still in use so customers have both options. MONEX's/Tsys fees come up-to about 6.7% all inclusive but they also charge me $90 annual fee. I like the WS II as its quite robust and I am still taking cash and quarters. The New reader allows me to accept chip and tap (applepay and google pay) as well. Down side is the fees are higher but my customers have more options to pay. I shared it in this post https://www.carwashforum.com/thread...t-ii-with-new-monex-reader.23631/#post-192522
