Water pressure continuously drops for a split second.

For the past 2-3 years, I've had an issue where the the water pressure seems to continuously drop for a split second. This video is short, but it does the exact same thing every few seconds when any of the bays are being used. I have not seen any adverse effects from it occurring, and no idea what's causing it, but wanted to start to try and figure out why it's happening. I had not really seen anything affected by it, until I was changing a hydrominder diaphragm the other day and noticed that the tanks would pause while filling when the pressure dropped. What could be causing this? It's a Jim Coleman SS stand. Thanks.

That gauge is on the city pressure. The click you're hearing is the pressure switch behind it opening and closing again. Does this coincide with the float valve in the tank opening to fill? You may have something restricting your water pressure, most likely the water softener.

I checked the gauge that is on the feed from the city and it seems to also drop, but not as pronounced. Only drops about 15PSI, but has to be what's causing it. Could it be an issue with my backflow meter? Doubt the city pressure keeps dropping like that on it's own.

It's most likely something on your end, probably not the backflow preventer. The first thing I always check is the softener by opening the bypass to see if the problem instantly goes away.

Great idea, I'll try that. I might be wrong, but I feel it all started when I had a pump on my spot free system fail and I had to replace it. I can't see the correlation, but it seems that's either when it started, or at least when I noticed.
