Oh my that's a serious issue. Have you contacted the water company? I'm sure your paying them plenty of money for thier water. There could be some kind of regulation(or something) for minimum water pressure from the municipality. Heck for the thousands of dollars you may pay them they should at least try to help if there's anything they can do.

Well good luck sounds like a booster would help. Make sure it can handle the flow rate you will need. But the question I wonder about is - would the booster be starved for water during high demand/ flow? .. Possible you may need a holding tank for a water buffer.. Just a thought...

Contacted city who owns the water department. They say that there is no problem with pressure. What else would they say!
Yes, I believe a holding tank would be advisable.!

Im gonna post this dont know if it applies to you, but will go ahead and post it..

Just noticed your in Detroit.. Totally depends where your at but there could be another business on the same line using a ton of water, like a factory or something... Maybe the lines should have been upgraded for them. Just thinking out loud.

So your seeing that psi gauged right off the main? It sounds. If they say it doesn't happen have them come out and see for themselves. Tell them there may be blockage, it would be thier responsibility to resolve if off site. Obviously you want to stay somewhat on thier good side to get things done.

Well it could be an issue similar to brownouts from the electrical company. We had that issue in the past, went on for quite a while. Same times each day the voltage would drop and our vfds would need to be reset. Finally they sent someone out to put a monitor on the line and found out the problem with transformer and fixed it.

Not sure how you set, whether its easier to work around the city pressure or try to get them to come out and see if they can find the problem.... But thier obviously not going to replumb the whole side of town if that's what it would take.
