Hello:

I just received a paint job on my car to cover up scratches via a mobile body shop. He only spent approximately three hours and did an average job. He covered up some deep scratches that were on my car for years!

The technician indicated I should wait 48 hours before using any chemicals to clean my car. However, I read online you should wait longer (like 30 days).

I wash my car on a weekly basis using Masterson's waterless product(it has a sealant). Is it ok if I use this product on the fresh paint after four days?

Plus, may I use my car cover after 4 days? I live in South Florida and the heat is unbearable. I cover my car daily but read you should not do that after applying fresh paint.

Thank you in advance!

Hi akhalil310,

try autogeek forums for a more appropriate audience. I would say the longer you wait the better, but that product is likley pretty benign. There is small amounts of silicone, but is probably nuetral ph.
