looking for a simple / inexpensive way to wire my wash select 2 to simply shut down when temp reaches 35 degrees or so. it is controlling a futura millenium. we have weep protection on our futura but it does not shut down the auto cashier

You can get a decent thermostat and wire it into a wire that will signal a shutdown, or just kill the power to the display/buttons.

Washma9,

You can use one of these http://www.controlbyweb.com/temperature/

If you have internet access, you can have it email you when it goes off and on too.

I would have it control the wash-in-use signal so it doesn't power down the WSII when its cold out (can lead to freezing or coins, LCD display, etc), but displays and Out-Of-Service message.

There is no need to disable the WSII with a Millennium. The weep system does not shut down the wash. If the weep system is active, it will go through its weep process and still wash a car, reset, then start the weep process again. Each time a car uses the wash, it will wash the car, then start the weep process again.
