Loop detector and photoeye will function in the program similarly. If something is under the follower, we don't want to drop it on the hood or roof, so we wouldn't release the ratchet. If your loop is shorted, or your loop relay is bad and it indicates a vehicle presence, that would cause it to not drop, just like a photoeye being blocked

What would cause the 2nd dryer to take 9-10 seconds to turn on? I messed with the loop detector a bit and the left flag/switch and they are fine. Biggest difference I notice between the two is that the 2nd dryer takes way too long to activate. What could cause that?

Both top fans should start at the same time. If they aren't, you may have an issue with a bad contactor not pulling in. The left and right side fans start later, but also should start at the same time.

I was going by sound and not visual, so I'll have someone else turn them on as I watch. When I manually turn them on, I know that I hear a loud sound right away then another motor starting 9-10 seconds later. On my other IBA, that 2nd loud motor turning on sound occurs after about 2 seconds.

On a Thrust Pro, they should turn on in pairs. Tops, then about 5 seconds both sides.

That explains the 2 loud turn on noises. I'll confirm they are all turning on. Since one does take 10 seconds before the 2nd pair turns on, still think that's a contactor?

If one of the fans for either pair is lagging, I'd say that would be a place to start.
