This is a thread from another forum that I go to a lot. The first post on the thread shows overheated wiring and the second post on page 2 show floor heat tubing 6" below a slab at a truck wash.

You can see how helpful these devices could be to have....but at $2000 + I think I"ll hold off a while longer.

My local fire dept. let me play around with one on my floor heat this past winter...it was amazing!

Our local electricians have used them to look at electrical hot spots in our equipment...thus finding bad and loose connections and components. They can rent it our or your can hire someone to look at whatever it is you need to looking at on an hourly rate.
