I have 2 boilers and a space heater in my wash both Lochinvar, everything LP:

RWL-260 Bay Heat Boiler. 270,000 btu input
RBL-360 Floor Heat Boiler. 360,000 btu input

+ 100,000 btu space heater for the equipment room . < also LP gas.

So about 730,000 btu for everything when they are all running.

3 bay carwash.

Spec’s for both boilers say it should be 10wc” minimum.

When the bay heat boiler is running by itself on the inlet side it is 10.67wc, when I turn the floor heat on it drops to 9.12wc, when the space heater is on it drops to 7.9wc. < all are on the inlet side of the gas valve on each.

Both boilers burn blue on the bottom with a larger orange flame on top, the space heater which is the longest run seems to burn normal with a blue flame.

I cleaned both boilers, cleaned the burner tubes everything is clean.

Everything is vented through the wall with tjernlund draft inducers.

There are 1.5” gas lines reduced to ¾” to each boiler, and a 1.5” to ¾’ to the space heater.

Turning the gas pressure down to 8.00 or turning it up to 15.00 makes no difference in the color of the flame, the flame just gets lower with less pressure.

It should be blue, with maybe just a little orange dancing on top.
Give it a good cleaning (like you did)
If it still has much yellow/orange, its the oxygen mixture, as in not enough oxygen.
Any air flow restrictions? Like, air intake/vents/filters need to be cleaned? Like stuff piled up against the boiler? Like, ER is sealed off to keep it warmer, and you are not drawing in enough outside air?

No air flow restrictions, the equipment room is clean and large < there is an apartment above, and also not airtight, I could open the double doors by the boilers and it will still burn the same way. Its been burning like this since I can remember and we built the wash in 1994.
