Working on a super saver 4 bay unit and I'm new to the carwash thing I'm just hired to work on the equipment but any way. under the high pressure pump stand basically on the floor there is a manifold with 4 solenoid valves the input is city water the output goes to the holding tank behind the control panel. What are they for?

Those 4 valves (solenoids) are cold water rinse valves. When in the bay and you put it on rise they open up. One for each Bay. Typically on a coleman set up at the end you have the weep solenoid connected to a weep mizer or just a ball valve.

The output goes to the hot water tank behind the control panel if your using hot water. It T's into the check valve below the tank to prevent back flow into that tank which would cause it to over flow. Where it T's below the tank it runs through a hose that is connected to the input side on the pump head to feed then pump when on RINSE.
