I'm about to have to buy both HP and LP swivels to replenish my stock. What kind is everyone using? We have been using the KR house brand which seem to work fine, but we have a few old fluid controls and JE Adams ones that were installed by the previous owner that seem to swivel much better. Any input of quality and durability? Thanks

I've gone to using the JEAdams 7080 swivel for everything, gun, inline and boom with a street elbow. They last longer than the bay hose, and I don't have to keep multiple kinds on hand. I don't rebuild them.

low pressure:https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-1724-economy-low-pressure-swivel-3-8-mxf-1000psi.aspx

high pressure: https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-15...-steel-swivel-3-8in-m-x-3-8in-f-5000-psi.aspx

the low pressure is the same one i've used for almost 20 years but the high pressure I recently switched to the stainless with a higher pressure rating and find they last much longer than brass with a lower pressure rating. They are more expensive but it seems like the one up at the top of the boom always leaks on a Friday afternoon at about 4:15 PM!

This looks like the je Adam's ones we have now, ours are stainless and seem to be holding up well. Who knows how long they've been in service.
We use the KR brand ball bearing swivels on everything. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-41...-x-f-brass-high-pressure-swivel-2000-psi.aspx they seem to last a long time.
This looks like the fluid controls ones we have installed. I like those the most, seem to swivel really good

The low pressure swivel is the same ones I bought last time, no real complaints. The HP swivels I bought last time are the value line stainless KR brand. They are definitely better than the brass ones, which kept leaking on LP functions but leak would go away on HP functions. My only gripe with the value line stainless is the smoothness of the swiveling action, the fluid control ball bearing style seems far superior in the regard.

How's the durability of the mosmatic HP swivels? Most of ours are damaged from abuse before they actually wear out, which would sting even more with the price of those.

I haven't used them myself, but I know a couple guys who have. They definitely last a long time, even at the gun, and they swivel really easy. I thought they were way more expensive, but they're only $30.73. I might have to try them as an inline swivel, but I'll stick with the Adams 7080 at the gun. I order my 1' swivel saver hose with female at one end so I don't need any other fittings to use the same MxF swivel on everything.

I've thought about the Mosmatic HP swivels a few times but at $30 a pop I can buy 2 of the KR ball bearing swivels, they seem to last a long time. When they start to leak we put a new "O" ring in it and use it on the Foam brush. We lose a lot of guns every year so I'd hate to lose a $30 swivel when someone decides to take a gun. We very seldom have to replace a gun or a foam brush handle because it's worn out, they just steal them.

May try 1 mosmatic to see how it compares, I really like the smoothness of the ball bearing style overall
