what scent?

saw an ad in trade magazine. think it was kc chemical. offering scentsational scents for adding to carwash soaps.

went to their website but saw no scents listed.

kleen rite has some from national brand; banana and citrus i think.

i'd like to add more scent to my hp soap and foamy brush (both i mix w/powder and foamer).

what have you tried that you like?

KR also has cherry fragrance by JBS that you can add to your soap too, but I have not used any fragrance additives in my soap.

You might want to call KR and ask for Doug. The fragrance from National actually sounds more like its for your scent gun not for presoaks. Let me know what you find out. Thanks

Before you add any scent to your products test it in a small amount to make sure it is compatible with them. Some scents can create problems when added after the products are in solution. Do you continuously mix the powder or make it in individual batches? In some cases it may be better to put the scent into a small solution before adding it to the product you have already mixed if you are continuously mixing. Also check if different scents are required for low and high pH products.

I add JBS strawberry to the foam brush - Windtrax carries a lot of different ones.

Waxman - I went down that same path with that KC Chemical ad. Let me know what you find, I didn't try very hard to figure it out but I would really like to add the scents I want to the soaps and maybe even change it out every so often.
