Recently bought this 2017 Q7. The rest of the vehicle is in great shape, but the prior owner was NOT careful putting things in and out of the back. Lots of chips and scratches. I may end up having to just repaint, but I at least want to try to see if I can improve it first.
I'm looking for advice on my game-plan. I'm planning to wash, decontaminate, and then cut and polish the whole vehicle with Meguiars M110 and M210. Then use paint pens from the dealer to touch up and clear coat the chips and scratches, followed by 2000 grit and 2500 grit wet sanding. Then I'll cut and polish just the bumper once more with M110 and M210.
Thoughts?
