What to do vs. Uninsured motorists

What do you do if someone is uninsured, & hits your IBA, shutting it down?
Small amount of damage to SoftGloss, but enough to shut it down & enough you can't fix it all...

What is this "small amount" consist of here with this vehicle strike?

Hit the side panel hard enough to break it off & actually cut a few wires in to. Also 2 of the LEDs aren't working on the side panel. Back short arm has a busted cover, but it is back on & sealed w/ some silicone.
I figure w/ labor & trip, about $2000ish.
Certainly not enough to file an insurance claim, & see my rates go up $250/mo!

Unless they're willing to reimburse you, you'll either have to take them to small claims court or you're SOL.

Sorry but I think you are stuck with the loss. Here in FL illegal aliens have more rights than I do. If an illegal gets stopped for a reason, the cops most times just let’s them go. They have no insurance, registration and don’t bother to learn English. Me though and it can cost thousands.

Small claims of just chalk it up to the cost of doing business in todays world. Not worth filing a claim with your insurance
