I would proceed to clean up the Crackerjack box or Happy Meal box that it was dumped from, because that is the only type of gold ring that would be found at my wash.

A few years ago I found a purse in the garbage. There was no money, credit cards or I.D inside, just your typical women’s stuff inside. I was about to toss it when I saw small zipped side pouch on the inside of the purse. When I unzipped the side pouch there was a small bag inside that had some very expensive jewelry inside. I called the police and asked if anyone had reported there purse being stolen and they couldn’t find a police report, I still have the jewelry. Last week I found a nice opal ring and an expensive heavy gold necklace in the vacuum cleaner. Only on a couple of occasions have I had someone call and ask if I’ve found this or that.

I've never found anything of value, but I've had more than a few customers claim they lost something. One kid said he dropped his $3000 "grills" when he pulled up to the auto cashier - I had just pulled up when he came speeding up and accused me of finding them and lying. I told him to call the police and I'd pull up the video, but he refused and left. When I checked the video, he did indeed pull up to the cashier but left without getting a wash, and no one went near it until he pulled back up. He didn't drop anything either.

Just a couple weeks ago a woman called and said she vacuumed up an expensive gold bracelet, and my cleanup guy showed up before I could get there and went through the vacuum and found nothing. Right as she was leaving she said "It might not even have been that vacuum," then left without giving me her info. I suspect she pawned it and lied to her husband/boyfriend, whatever he was, who said he wasn't leaving without it.

Found a wedding rind 5 yrs ago. A detsiler accidentally vacuumed it up, & he was scared to death. Thank God we found it, but no clue why the lady left her wedding ring in a cup holder...!!!😯🤔🙄😰
