I needed to replace the procon pump for my FB on my JC pump stand yesterday, so I replaced it with one I had purchased as a backup. When I turned it on, it pulsed like crazy and seemed like the round end where the procon sticker is was about to burst out. I then replaced it with an older Procon that I had removed off of another system and it worked fine. Question is, what procon pump model do I actually need? I am only running my FB at around 40 PSI. Here is the new Procon that didn't work: https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-1799-procon-rotary-pump-clamp-style-model-102a100f11xx.aspx
The one on there now does have an adjustment screw on the side. I don't see any other differences. What's that screw for anyway?
Thanks.
