Front wheel pull has the same issues today as years ago. Because you do not have a stable axle as in rear wheel push, you are subject more to poor tire pressure, bad alignments and other front end related issues that can cause the vehicle to track over a guide rail. FWP is ok for shorter tunnels as the vehicle has a shorter window of opportunity to go out of the conveyor. In addition, we often times have more than one wheel/tire device that can move the vehicle to the guide rail thus causing an opportunity to "jump" out of the track. stay away from FWP on longer conveyors.
