I'm having a blast working on the ww and pdq bays and find them straight forward.
Except for electrical, which is why I cautioned you about that.
When I do have a question I call the manufacturer and it's settled in 10mn over the phone.
Then you know you have that to fall back on. You asked questions and addressed concerns, and I answered them to the best of my knowledge.

There is simply not enough profit margin in an IBA/SS car wash to hire out all the work. That's why we rinse bays, empty trash, fix leaks and repair equipment ourselves. I've had friends teach me alot of what I now know ( and was clueless about before). This has made my business successful. I think you will find this 'can-do' attitude applies broadly across our industry.

I didn't know car washes were rocket science. Thanks for filling me in.

If you keep with the snarky comments, no one is going to help you. Some of the distributors have people who frequent this forum. Do you want to piss them off this early? And no, it's more like rocket surgery working on some of these machines.

If you are not good at troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems you are probably not going to make it very far in this field. Mechanical issues don't require much troubleshooting skill so I doubt you would get many calls for mechanical issues.
