Unfortunately do to health concerns we won’t be able to make it to the ICA convention this year. We were looking forward to going this year but things just have a way of not working out sometimes.

Why not plan an event thru the forum - where, when, what? Looks like Tuesday would be the best day to meet?

my guess is he means there is more to look at while simply wandering around Vegas then there is in Nashville. My wife felt the same way. She hated Nashville in Las Vegas. But my wife doesn’t drink at all and had no desire to hang out in any bars or nightclubs even with live music. If that’s not your thing Nashville becomes a much smaller town… Unless sport season is an affect of course.

If everything falls in place hopefully I will be headed there also.

Listen to music for free, tour the Ryman, see a show at the Grand Ole Opry, grab a hot chicken sandwich at Hattie B’s, see a hockey game...tour a distillery.
You say your not a big drinker, not a non-drinker. I’d recommend touring the Nelson Greenbrier distillery. It’s enjoyable and there is a great tasting room at the end.
What’s there to do in Las Vegas? Drink, gamble, eat expensive low quality food, get a headache walking through the casino? Walk on piping hot pavement? I do enjoy visiting the Hoover Dam.
The thing I hate most about Vegas is the long flight from the East coast. For me, I have to devote an entire day to travel.

If you end up going to Nashville we should meet. I understand we have situations kind of in common, and your site isn't that far from where I'm located.

Sure, right now I would say I’m 80 to 90% sure I’m going. I just still haven’t committed because I’m not sure I want to leave on Mother’s Day and my sons birthday. I would be going down alone without my wife because she’s a teacher and can’t take the time off right now. I’ll decide later tonight…

SW Indiana melon fields.
I'm open for grabbing a bite, both Monday and Tuesday nights, if we don't get anything formal arranged. Does anyone remember that place where we had the dinner during the 2019 show? I think Jackson arranged it, but then had a family emergency and couldn't attend himself.

I tried to eat at that place last night but couldn’t find it. We ended up at Plunketts around the corner. Food was ok but it’s fairly loud in there just like just about everywhere in Nashville.

Well I committed, I’m going to see billy strings at the ryman tonight. Still some resale tickets available …. Always wanted to see him, I would have rather not paid close to $200 to do it but you only live once right?! Lol
