That video has been around a long time. You could do that on the old Sensortron coin acceptors. If you look at the face of your coin box and see a lot of scratches on it you know they have tried to rack up time with a speaker magnet.

Haven't seen that pop up in quite a while. It's probably been 18-20 years since we redesigned the output circuit on the Sensortron. You could do that to any old coin mech with a relay output. We were just the only ones to admit it and actually do something about it.
