I have been just using windex and i am getting an residue on the inside of the windshield when we clean a car. It really shows up in the sun and im sure my customers have noticed it. I'm sure there is a better product and a way to avoid this.
I've wrestled with this for years now and found this was the best solution for me. I use 2 microfiber towels whenever I do windows. 1 to clean the window with the solution and 1 to buff the window crystal clear. As long as I'm not in the sun, I can get windows sparkling clean.
I have tried multiple cleaners with the 2 towel method and have always seen the same results...crystal clear. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.
My windows procedure:
1. Kleen Rite Glass Cleaner concentrate applied w/micro fiber towel.
2. Wipe w/surgical towel.
3. mist with clear water and wipe again with fresh surgical towel
I recently added the third step because windows are very difficult for us to get as good as I like them (which is perfect).
