Wiring Super Air Shamee

Ive got some air shamees on the way and want to go ahead get started with the electrical portion of the install. According to the diagram is lists a motor starter being needed. I know the contractor is included with air shamee but it doesn't mention a starter. Do I need to source a starter for each unit? Can the motor started for the HP pump be used?

Got the Super Air Shammee II (3 Phase) a few years back, don't remember needing a starter.
Did need an electrical box for contactors, 45° PVC elbows to relieve hose stress on the booms, Air Logic guns (the provided ones aren't that good imo), face plate decals, Hamel 6" gun holders (I actually cut and pressed the provided gun holders flat for a backing plate on the 2 booms mounted on the equipment room.) and fasteners as needed.

edit: Looks like contactors are no longer included, confirmed no starters on my installation.

They do not come with contactors, you have to buy your own. I installed mine without motor starters and it works just fine. Spoke to Diskin first and they said I could run them without them.

Their diagram is wrong. A "motor starter" is a 2 piece unit (contactor + overload). A contactor by itself has no overload feature. You can use just a contactor or you can add an overload to it to make it a "motor starter". It's up to you. If you use just a contactor then the breaker will trip in the event of a short circuit or thermal overload. If you use a contactor with an overload and there is a short circuit or thermal overload then the overload will just trip protecting the motor IF it's set to the right setting of amps. Using just a contactor without an overload will work just fine though.

MIne used the HP motor contactor since the HP Pump and Air shamee were separate choices and could not run at the same time.

I need an enclosure for 4 air shamee contactors. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don’t have the contactors yet but would like to have the supplies when they get here. From the picture it looks like they can be mounted on a rail?

A 10" x 10" x 6" (or a 12 x 12 x 6 for a bit of extra room) electrical box will work no problem. Just make sure it's at least 6" deep..

Yes.
Also... depending on your circumstances, schedule 80 PVC is awesome for any runs that exceed the short length of hose they give you to connect the motor to the boom.
