Does anyone know if there is a way to set/ adjust the blow down. When my unit is in the freeze mode, it blows down immediately after wash completion. I have drive-thru blowers. So occasionally, as the vehicle is exiting through the dryers, it is getting soap blown on it.

I am thinking of just turning the freeze t-stat off, because I have doors and a radiant heater. I can use the windy day switch with a separate t-stat to shut the doors at 35 or so, then eliminate the blow down all together.

Don't know a whole lot about this. But what about maybe putting in a time delay relay of some type. Just an idea.

There might be a delay setting in the service screen on the ECC.
I could not find anything in my book. I am not totally familiar with this unit, as it was alrerady in place at an existing wash I bought.

I think I will just eliminate it all together, as I have doors and heat. Now as I think about it, it is just a waste of water and soap for me to have it blown down.

Thanks for the replies.

I have a different blow down on my machines. It is an alternative to wasting weep water. You may have doors and radiant heat but is that enough to keep your hoses from freezing? How about the lines to the automatics? The blow down is supposed to clear the lines of water to keep them from breaking. After the last person before a hard freeze, do you want to risk your lines being full of water? I would ask those questions before I disconnected the system. Some of the larger hoses I have are nearly $100 each!

I have trough heat for the above ceiling lines. Plus I have a sensor that calls me if the temp in the auto bays falls below 33.
