Have WW 2.0. Intermittently, not all the time, it will soap down the 1st half of the car and return to the home position and tell the customer to exit without washing the car.

In the past my experience with this has been either proxy or cable problem,
I would check the eyes first then cables.

Alarms or error code showing? I would also recommend checking the counting prox and cables.

This past week had a similiar problem and discovered that my floor heat boiler anti freezlevel had dropped therefore not allowing the anti freeze to circulate and causing ice to build up on the gantry rails...............luckily an easy fix.

Good Luck!

My first thought was counting prox as well. An easy way to check this (at least on a WW 1.0) is to look at a setting in the ECC that tells you the wheel counts of your last ten cars. They should show beginning and end of car counts and the first count is usually in the 6-10 range and the last count should be in the 50-80 range depending on the length of the vehicle. If some of these counts are off it is a wheel count prox or wheel problem. I had a similar problem just last week when the spring that holds the count wheel to the track was broken.

I have had this happen with several different causes. Counting or home/end proxes or cables, people rolling off the tredle, a beer can blown out of a truck bed stuck under the pass. side of the gantry triggering the end prox, and one of mine has an "energy chain" for the supply hoses to get to the gantry - one of the hoses on the top of the gantry was sagging (broken clip) and catching on an energy chain roller causing the gantry to stop and go home. bad proxes/eyes or cables should be giving you error messages that would tell you where the problem lies.

My most common problem is beer cans being sensed by the end of track prox and sending the gantry home. But I get an end of track prox error message

i had that problem right after they installed my new 2.0. it went on forever. I replaced the cable that didnt fix it, I dont know what did but it doesnt do it anymore. But it did the exact same thing, about the mirrows it would quit and go back home. I spent $700.00 on the dealer to come check it and they could not find the problem.
