Hi all,
Just wondering what you guys think about this:
Since a while my WW Razor bridge is out of alignment (in home position the left hand side of the bride is 2" closer to the exit than the right hand side).
I haven't figured out why. It would mean it would jump two or three teeth. It then gets to the point where the machine wouldn't start anymore as the sensors don't detect the bridge properly. After I correct it it will work but still jumping teeth after a while.
The bridge moves easily without any noise.
My technician reckons it's because there is too much grease on the wheels & belts. Hmm...not so sure. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

Maybe it's time for a new belt? And clean the grease off of everything and when you reinstall the new belt…

Are the shaft couplings tight? One isn't slipping or lost a key has it, essentially driving on one side only?

Okay, I found it. Old grease was sitting between the teeth of the belt. Cleaned up everything and removed this old grease and it works fine again. Which brings me to the next question but I will put that under a separate topic. Thanks.
