Does anyone use a zomodo dvr? If so does run through a router? What are your settings in the dns, and ip sections?

ip is your static ip address(whatismyip dot com) and you can use 8.8.8.8 for dns if you like.
settings are different if you do not have static ip address..

You should always use a router!
I wouldn't pay for a commercial static ip address for cameras.
Look for DDNS settings on your router. I use to use dyndns.org service 10 years ago... now they have a client for the router. Should work good?
Or just purchase a new router... one with the open source firmware dd-wrt not a netgear.
