Yes they are repairable. Before you send it in for repair try swapping it out with a validator from another bay to see if the wiring isn’t the problem, I don't see to many validators that take a bill and not give credit. Should you decide that you want to replace your validator, the validator you want to use is a AE2412 or a AE2612, you do not want a VN2512 or a VN2712 validator, they are made for the
vending industry. The third number in the model number determines the type of bezel that is used on the validator, “1” would be a compact type bezel, the fourth number is the voltage, “2” would be 24 volts and a “1” would 110 volts. A “U” or a “D” in the model number determines if the validator is an Upstack or Downstack model and the last number determines the size of the bill box “3” would be a 300 note bill box.
