Well our local conartist is still loose and plying his craft. Latest I heard he was in the Florida panhandle. I've been talking to someone who is trying to get the feds to put this piece of human excrement away. Does anyone have any factual info on people he has screwed lately, or in the past for that matter. The thinking is if it can be shown that he has a lengthy pattern of doing this, especially across state lines, it might be enough to nail him. If you are reading this and don't know who Barry and his son Shaun Boyd are, be thankful. He is also aparantly using a daughter in law named Mia Frandrup to help con people. I hope to attach a picture of Barry Boyd taken a few years ago.

Thank you mr pro for just assuming that I sit around and make things up just to irritate people like you. And then assuming that the webmaster just lets false accusations stay here. If nothing else that is an insult to him. I actually spent fifty bucks to have a company do a criminal check on Boyd and put the results on the old forum. If it's still available you can look it up. I found that he was sued in court at least 10 times, and listed the court cases. I also had many people whom he screwed contact me that said they did not take the case to court. You need to put some salve on your bruised ego.

I know Mac personally and to say that he makes up things or says things to slam competitors is BS in itself.
Fact is Mac tells it like it is and may be brutally honest to a fault but none the less, he doesn't make up BS or lie. He's actually one of the most honest guys I know in this business.

I am not about ego at all! I just get tired of your negative comments about EVERYTHING. I really have no concern for any thing you say as I already know the content will be regurgitated ignorance. You are right on with what you have said about Barry Boyd. I have relationships with some of the carwash owners in Florida that he left high and dry. Barry generally operates all over Florida and into Georgia and has been a huge negative for this industry. This is one nasty, nasty man. Buyer beware!

I used Barry and Shaun Boyd to build two car washes in the Panhandle. He is a crook and it has been a nightmare. I was love to see some justice. Let me know what I can do to help.

did business with boyd. right after he purchased the dist. in birmingham and took it under. at that time i was told he owed money to blue corral and turtle wax and the man he purchased it from. then he wnt chapter 13 and purchased what was left for 10cents on the dollar. then he moved it south. my banker looked after me in my dealings with him. no check until the correct equipment was on site. no yes berry was different to deal with. my brother invited him outside at the show in nashville as i was recovering from bypass.

Hello Mia, and welcome to the forum. Always refreshing to hear the other side. I included your name after discussions with a Mr. Ken Cranmer. He told me that it was you who introduced him to Mr. Boyd. Some would call that an accomplice. If you would be so kind to explain how dmurray took advantage of the Boyds, I'm sure that would be interesting reading. As to attorneys, since the web master doesn't like people posting phone numbers, have your attorney email me and I'll send him my phone number. If there is anything that you can do to keep others from Mr Boyd, you would be doing a great service to the carwashing industry, and your fellow citizens.
