JE Adams Coin Deposit Air Machine "No Air Pressure"

Good day,
Ive had the unit since new approx 7 years and it stopped producing air pressure, I haven't disassembled it yet to seek something obvious mechanically but thought Id ask you all if you've ever experienced this before.
A new motor assy delivery is near $700.00, hoping to not have to spend that much on a low use vending machine.
I appreciate your input!

You've probably got a bad air compressor or a control relay. Get out the volt meter and start checking for power.

1 Open Cabinet - Let it run and put finger over tip and listen for air leaks. Also try to disconnect hose at compressor and put finger over outlet to see if you have good pressure. (If pressure is good it will be difficult to impossible to hold finger there. 2. Some compressors have a filter on inlet. Make sure it is clean. 3. Some compressors have a Bleed Off valve allowing compressor to start under zero pressure.. Make sure it is not stuck open, Report back.

Yes, I did these steps and it has near no pressure when you cover the hose end with your finger, and I didn't see a air filter. What pressure it has is near nothing.

If it's on the side of your building you could run an air line from your ER compressor and add a solenoid valve instead of replacing the expensive onboard compressor.

If the onboard compressor for your building's air line is expensive to replace, an alternative solution could involve using an existing ER compressor. By running an air line from the ER compressor and integrating a solenoid valve, you could efficiently manage the air supply without the need for a costly replacement. This setup allows for controlled air distribution to various points in the building, ensuring reliable operation without significant additional investment. It's essential to ensure compatibility and proper installation to maintain optimal performance and reliability of the air supply system.

INTERESTING, REALLY?, YOU DIDN'T USE THIS SPECIFIC COMPRESSOR?, HOW LONG HAVE IS IT BEEN IN PLAY EARL?
I had Thomas and Gast that lasted for 10 years or more. Been using the harbor freight unit for several years. I do recall it was a PITA to try to adapt the fitting that wasn't typical 1/4"

Ok, Guess that's what I'll replace it with!
Thank very much for the insight Earl.
